  Visible movements in living organisms are often associated with life. Movements can be a response to changes in the organism's environment. Living organisms use movement to their advantage by adapting to environmental changes. Movement in response to the environment is carefully controlled. Different changes in the environment evoke specific movements in response. Controlled movement is connected to the recognition of various events in the environment. Living organisms rely on systems that provide control and coordination.
